Scheduling is based on a Google calendar and using it requires that
you have a googlemail account -- that is, an email address that ends
in either @googlemail.com or @gmail.com. If you don't
already have such an account, you can register for one for free
here. Once
you have your email address, please let me know what it is
and I will add you to list of users who can make bookings.
To use the calendar, log into Google calendar.
Under "My calendars," you should see UCL Psych TMS lab. Click on
a day/time cell to make a booking. When doing this, make sure
that the "Calendar" field reads "UCL Psych TMS lab" and not any other
Google calendars you may use. Also, when making bookings, please
put enough information into the field so that others can contact you
about the booking if there is a potential conflict.
We use a relatively informal scheduling procedure -- namely, any user
can book time on the system but we ask that you do this considerately.
Please do not book time that won't be used. Cancelations and such are
inevitable, but booking 4 hours in hopes that you'll run 4 subjects and
then only running one is not acceptable. What I suggest is that people
block book times more than a week in advance when setting up
scheduling using SONA and then a week ahead of time, if the slots are
not full, then delete them from the TMS schedule. They can be rescheduled
if participants sign up for them and they remain free on the TMS
calendar. Please be considerate when booking time. If problems arise
we'll deal with them on a case-by-case basis but if they persist,
the person being disruptive will lose the right to book time on the system.
